Canal Days
Canal Days are here once again. And once again, POG is open for service. This Saturday, Sunday and Monday we will be opening our doors to provide bathroom facilities, a cool place away from the heat, as well as free coffee and lemonade to the many people visiting Port for Canal Days. And we're doing it all for free!
Christians are sometimes accused of being so heavenly minded that they're no earthly good. We want to be heavenly minded and earthly good as well, even in little things such as this.
Thank you for all the people who have signed to cover for an hour, two or more this weekend. May you be blessed as you are a blessing to others.

Hope you had a great canal days! It is certainly one of the unique and amazing POG events that Liz and I miss! Our prayers continue to be with you all.

Hey Neil, You're right, it is such a wonderful time plus great fellowship with our POG people. Especially Erin and Richie who, again, spent the weekend there ensuring everything was running smoothly, greeting people and testing their skills at crossword. (Erin rules!!) Those two are fabulous.
Maybe next year you and Liz could sign up to cover an hour or two sometime over the weekend. We would love you see you!!! (Oh, and from the girls - Hello Chubby Chicken - we miss you!!)
